Newly Established Fabricator, Precision Glass Industries, Adds Automated Hydrophobic Coating Machine
Irvine, California: Today, Diamon-Fusion International announced that newly established glass fabricator, Precision Glass Industries (PGI), has chosen DFI’s fully-automated hydrophobic coating machine, the FuseCube™, for their shower door and commercial coating needs. The company went with DFI’s Flex 75 series, which will enable PGI to apply the patented Diamon-Fusion® coating on both sides of their shower doors, in the most efficient, cost-effective manner.

In addition to providing PGI better overall quality and shortened lead times, the FuseCube will also allow the company to significantly reduce handling and waste, and labor, so assets can be used elsewhere within the business. The Houston-based fabricator will house the new machine, along with their other automated glass machinery, in a 56,875 sq. ft. facility, with the ability of expanding to 79,375 sq. ft.
